Our philosophy is built upon the core tenets of the early 20th century Golden Age of golf course design. This was a time when architects produced some of the boldest and most innovative courses ever built, many of which are still considered among the finest to play today.
Our approach to golf course architecture is deeply rooted in the same design principles that make these Golden Age courses great - principles that bridge strategy, challenge, and creative shot-making. We listen to our clients, thoughtfully respond to trends and reinterpret these principles for the modern game to produce golf courses that are engaging, exciting, and formidable, and always enjoyable to play.

Our role is to listen to the site’s story and our partner’s vision, then bring both to life. Inspiration is drawn from site features such as interesting landforms, specimen trees, vistas and topography – these are preserved and celebrated as part of our designs. Careful attention to context at the outset of project design leads to cost-effective construction, long-term sustainability, and golf course layouts as unique as their natural settings.
